More than 300 million people suffer from this disease and its prevalence is increasing. Common symptoms of asthma are wheezing , coughing and shortness of breath . Many studies have shown that T cell activity can be related by severity of asthma , degree of narrowing of airways and eosinophil response . The atopic individuals with asthma, immune response are mainly Th2 (T helper) type while the non- atopic individuals are predominantly Th1 (T helper1) type . Th2 immune response is associated with increased interleukin 4, 5 and 13 that will be found more frequently in patients with asthma. Immune response with excellence Th1 is abundance INF- g and IL-2. An imbalance between Th1 and Th2 got involved in atopic and asthma diseases . Specific transcription factors such as T-bet and GATA-3 is involved in the differentiation of TH0 to Th1 and Th2 . GATA-3 is a transcription factor that regulates the expression of Th2 . In contrast, T-bet regulates the differentiation of Th1 . These expression factors regulate Th1/Th2 balance and allergic response .
