  Abstract

 

  The first source of clinical teaching is learning and shaping the professional identity of medical students and the main indivisible component of that is nursing education. In this paper, a comprehensive review of the related literature by intends to Challenges in clinical nursing education in Iran and its Strategies had been evaluated.

  This review resulted literature, searching the Internet and library studies about the challenges of clinical teaching key words clinical education, the challenges and nursing was performed between 1995 and 2014 using databases such as Google scholar, IranMedex, MEDLINE, CINAHL, ISI, SID, Magiran and Pub Med. In total, 82 articles were found that among these article, 15 cases were related and selected for investigation.

  According to results of the studies, selection and attention to the key concepts that discussed in our study, was demonstrated the major challenges in nursing education in relation to the educational system, and patients were not specified in the job description of student learning goals, the lack of adequate access to the coaches, the gap between knowledge and clinical practice, inappropriate therapy students and teacher staffs, inadequate facilities for clinical final evaluation process is assessed.

  Clinical training as facilitators of learning in the clinical environment requires the participation of faculty, clinical instructors, students and medical staff . Clinical education in the health field to improve clinical facilities reconsideration evaluation tools and process to improve the clinical education of health promotion is recommended.
