Sexual and reproductive health is one of the most critical areas of health in women, and insufficient knowledge in this area leads to risky behaviors and causes numerous complications. Meanwhile, one way to improve health is to utilize self-care methods, which the World Health Organization defines as "the ability of individuals, families, and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a health worker". Therefore, the present study aimed to conduct a scoping review of educational interventions that are effective in promoting women's sexual and reproductive self-care. This study was conducted by searching for the keywords "self-care," "sexual and reproductive health," "interventions," and "women" in the Web of Science (WOS), Scientific Information Database (SID), IranDoc, Magiran, Scopus, Google Scholar, and PubMed databases from 2000 to 2025. A total of 994 articles were found at the beginning of the search. Then, during a four-stage screening process, they were ultimately reduced to 11 articles and included in the study. The findings indicated that interventions in the field of sexual and reproductive self-care using various methods, such as educational models for protective motivation (P<0.001 and P<0.000), planned behavior (P<0.001), jigsaw technique (P<0.001), booklet (P<0.001), smartphone-based software (P<0.001), self-care instructions to prevent vaginal infection (P<0.05), and counseling regarding hygienic practices (P<0.0001) have been used in girls and women of reproductive age, which has been associated with positive and statistically significant results and has improved the state of knowledge about sexual and reproductive health and the adoption of sexual and reproductive self-care practices in individuals. Accordingly, it is estimated that although studies in this field are limited and more interventions are needed, each method appears to be beneficial, depending on the society's cultural, social, and economic conditions and facilities. By considering these interventions in health and health education programs as a method to promote self-care, sexual and reproductive health can be improved.
