Existing studies have shown that scholarship contributes to increasing scientific productivity, the promotion of education field knowledge and the provision of new resources to the educational community. The Scholarship can as well as increase the satisfaction of learners and helps the community of educators. In the new definition of scholarship in higher education, this concept has developed to four areas of scholarship discovery, scholarship of integration, scholarship of application and scholarship of teaching. Sometimes definitions, concepts and types of scholarship are misused instead of each other. Therefore, the purpose of this review article is to introduce faculty members with definitions and concepts of scholarship, with emphasis on teaching scholarship, as well as how to write the process of teaching scholarship.
